November 2019 Meeting

On the 14th of November we were joined by Sports Psychologist at St Mary’s University, Stuart Carrington. Stuart is author of the book, ‘Blowing the Whistle: the psychology of football refereeing’.

Stuart kindly took us through a few exercises and scenarios - getting us to think about our approach to our games, our decision making process during a game and how we reflect on the game post-match.

Stuart’s talk was extremely well received and many members grabbed a copy of his book following the conclusion of the evening.
